Rough Hewn Limestone Sink on Stacked Block Piers

The most elemental sink in the collection, installed in a stone tiled powder room. The top is a single massive block of limestone with a round bowl and a curved front, its edges left rough and broken rather than moulded. It rests on piers of stacked limestone blocks, each with a corbel shaped upper course, and the joints are left open. The stone is warm buff with grey and ochre mottling, pitted and fissured across every face. A bronze wall mounted tap is fitted above. Suited to powder rooms, rustic bathrooms, wine cellars and country residences.
