Rope Rim Limestone Sink on Lyre Pedestals

A deep rectangular limestone sink shown installed in a powder room, its rim edged on every side with a carved twisted rope moulding. Beneath the rim a dark band with a wavy upper edge wraps the basin. The sink sits on two swelling, curved pedestal blocks, the visible face of one incised with a lyre and the side of the other bearing traces of painted flowers, and both stand on square block bases. The stone is pale cream, worn and marked with age. A bronze wall mounted mixer is fitted above. Suited to powder rooms, guest bathrooms and boutique hospitality interiors.
