Plain Slab Limestone Sink on Fluted Scroll Consoles

A long, plain limestone sink slab, thick and rough at its edges, set on two monumental scroll consoles. All the carving is in the supports: each console is fluted along its curve and rolls into a volute at the top, with a band of carved leaves gathered below a moulded collar before it meets a panelled square plinth. A small round boss rises at the back of the slab behind the bowl. The inlaid backsplash sink here has similar legs, but this piece has no splash and a far heavier top. Suited to kitchens, bathrooms, country residences and hospitality interiors.
