Plain Limestone Trough Sink with Lower Shelf

A plain, deep rectangular limestone trough with straight walls and squared corners, carried on two thick slab legs that also hold a lower stone shelf between them. A small bored hole sits near the top of the front face. There is no carving at all: the character is in the surface, the trough a warm grey buff turning ochre at one end, the legs mottled grey green with lichen and age. The whole stands on a broad plinth slab. Suited to kitchens, utility spaces, laundry rooms, garden kitchens and contemporary architectural interiors.
