Limestone Utility Sink with Backplate and Shelf Ledge

A limestone sink installed in a laundry room, built as a tall backplate with a projecting shelf ledge near its head and a deep basin with a rounded front lip below. The basin rests on squared limestone piers, leaving the space beneath it open. The stone is a warm biscuit limestone with grey shadowing in its worn hollows, quiet enough to sit against reclaimed brick and herringbone paving without competing. A modern wall mounted mixer with a hand shower is fitted above it in this installation. Suited to laundry rooms, utility spaces, boot rooms, kitchens and country residences.
