Compass Star Mosaic Limestone Sink

Photographed from above, so the whole working surface of this limestone sink reads at once. A deep scooped bowl, its drain opening visible, curves into the top between two panels of cracked white stone mosaic, each centred on a compass star in red, green and ochre. The front apron is hand carved with a ribbon tied swag, and two brass tap fittings stand at the rear corners. Square legs carry it. Where the other garland sinks here are seen from the front, this one is defined by its inlaid stars. Suited to principal bathrooms, powder rooms, kitchens and architectural restoration work.
