Ribbon Garland Limestone Console Sink

A limestone console sink photographed in a powder room with deep blue plaster walls. Its front apron is hand carved with ribbon bows tied to hanging garlands of fruit and leaves, and the return on the side carries a carved flower rosette. The top is inlaid with fish scale mosaic panels on both sides of a broad oval bowl. Below, two curved scroll legs carry the apron and leave the waste pipe in view. The limestone is pale cream, chalky and softly weathered on every edge. Suited to powder rooms, guest suites, boutique hospitality interiors and country residences.
